Which Wordpress Theme? Free Or Premium
Every blogger wants to show his blog unique on internet but WordPress have a little free template such that all of them have been chosen by other so I have written a post on "which themes you should choose." It's time to break out your creative skills. Don't worry, if you can't even draw a circle. you can still get an awesome looking blog. Now pick out a theme. You will get one big fork in the WordPress while starting blog  road right now free or premium.

Choose Wisely

Free themes are great because they are well free. But, you're getting what you paid for. So, although it may be a nice place to start, I usually don't see sites that go for the long haul on a free theme. Premium themes have a few major benefits:

First, the obvious, they look sweet. You can get an awesome theme for not much investment. Second, a good premium theme will have great support. That way, when you're trying to give it some custom touches, you won't be in the dark (which happens with free themes). Third, lots of extras! They usually have some great custom widgets and plugins that help you get the site to launch ready in no time.

There are three awesome premium themes that you should check out. These themes are great because they are dynamic with lots of ways to be customized.

Thesis Theme

Thesis Theme is an amazing ultra-customizable theme. There are countless of online players (BIG players) that use Thesis. Chris Pearson, Thesis creator, made this theme to perfection. Super clean code and design with a great forum for support. With Thesis you'll be able to change the look completely without having to adjust any code. You can go even further than that, learn just a minimal amount of html and css and before you know it, design completely custom sites with Thesis as your framework.

You can pick up Thesis at: DIYThemes.com

Genesis Theme

Next is Genesis Theme. The Genesis team did a great job too. It's fast and customizable. It is very close in line with Thesis. But Thesis seems to get a bit more kudos from the online community.

Genesis is available at: StudioPress.com

Headway

Headway is a customizable theme that's pretty cool because of it's visual editor. It allows for a ton of customization without much (if any) editing of code.

Headway is available at: HeadwayThemes.com

You have a theme - Now What?

 Here's how to install it.

1. upload the themes zip file to the themes directly  (yourdomain.com > wp-content > themes).

Once that's uploaded, activate it

2. log into WordPress.
On the left sidebar go to: appearance > themes > click on your theme > activate it.

So you've got your site looking nice and clean now! One last Before you go any further, it's a great idea to install Google Analytics on your site in order to keep track of metrics. You'll learn plenty about this later, but for now, just install Google Analytics. Once you sign up for a Google Analytics account, you can easily add a plugin to help you get it running on your WordPress install.

  6. Awesome and informative post, Abhishek.

Of course, it's better to have a paid WP them because it's more versatile and allows for more customization. However, there are some free themes that offer a lot a well.

I'm still running the free version of the Flexibility theme. I plan upgrade to either Thesis or Genesis in the near future. But for right now my free theme is serving my purposes for my blog rather well.

I appreciate you sharing your insights on the various themes, though. It's given me a lot to consider.

This is my first time visiting your blog, Abhishek and I’m loving what I’ve seen and read so far. I’ll be sure to share this piece with my social circle. I’ll also be sure to comment on and share it with the BizSugar community.

Keep the great content coming and I look forward to connecting more with you soon.

    Ti

    1. Yes, of course premium themes have some major advantages which you will never get with free theme. But, sometimes you will get all the premium advantages in free themes. The only drawback of free theme is that they are common to get installed on many wordpress blogs.

Thanks Ti for coming here. I am thankful to you for your long feedback.
