Google's New Backlink Policies
Google does not want that spam and irrelevant sites to be appeared in search results. So, Google always keeps changing their algorithms for their search engine. This time they have taken link building and link exchange seriously. They have updated their backlinks policies. What they are going to do and how it can effect us. Let's see.

These update include three types of backlinks, guest posting, advertorials and link distributed in article/news releases. How it is effecting guest blogging. Simple, if you are guest blogging for only backlinks without having quality in your contents then you are going to be hit by this Google update. Let's talk it in explain.

Advertorials

We all know that how Google treat with ads in the sidebar or anywhere on your site. If the link pointing to advertiser site is dofollow then it can be dangerous for site. Google understand you are practicing link exchange techniques. After Google Penguin and Panda updates, many sites are hit on basis of this technique and this time, it will be also happen.

Anchor Text

Google treats well optimized anchor text as unnatural. Often people published article on their sites and distributed on article marketing sites with anchor text. Make sure you apply nofollow tag to such links so that they can not pass link juice, which will be considered as well optimized anchor text.

How Will This Effect Widgets, Plugin and Templates Sharing Sites?

Google will come and hit you a punch, sorry kidding. Well! every sites that share widgets, plugins and templates/themes free, they put attribution link in the footer. Which will be considered as same as unnatural anchor text by Google. That's means your site will surely hit if you share these with adding a link.

What Can Do For Escaping?

If you provide large widgets and templates on large scale then it will be hard to contact everyone who are using your tools to tell them to remove your link or to add nofollow tag. In my case, I have shared only one template and now I have added nofollow link to the attribution link.

Here is a trick to keep your link dofollow and your site will not be hit by Google update. Use image instead of anchor text with dofollow tag and Google will treat as image but still it will pass backlinks. What you say about this. Am I right? I am not expert in this field, so may be I am wrong. Give your suggestion and feedback, please!

    1. Yes Ankit bro, It is very bad news. About your question, the answer is you don't have to fear if you are using images. I think this update is about "Anchor Text". But, keep in mind that you should remove alt tags. It works same as anchor text.

    1. Hey Nitin bro, what do you understand from this update. Google wants us to concentrate on onsite seo factors. You don't have to remove alt tags on your blog. When you are going to advertise on other blog directly with banner then remove alt tags.

I think you have understand the logic, and thanks for commenting, keep visiting.

  9. You can split the advertisement section into two parts 728x90 and 222x90 in your blog. So that you can place ad unit as well as link unit. I already told you to add share buttons for every post in home as well as posts page. Coming to fonts - you can use Ariel font for heading and post you can also increase the size of the font while coming to post area. Heading is ok.
